Define school schedules

For each school in a district, you define a schedule with the start and end dates of the school year.

To define school schedule parameters:

1. Do one of the following:
• Log on to the School view. Click the School tab, and the Schedules side-tab.
• Log on to the District view. Click the District tab. Select the School, and click Schedules on the Schools side-tab.

2. Do one of the following:
• To edit a schedule that appears, click the date in the Start column.
• To create a new schedule, on the Options menu, click Add.

• The parameters appear for the schedule.

3. Use the following table to enter information in the fields:

   Field	Description
   Name	Type a name for the schedule, such as the school year the schedule is created for.
   Start date	Type the date on which the schedule begins, or click to select the date.
   End date	Type the date on which the schedule ends, or click to select the date.
   Days per cycle	The number of days per cycle appears. You define this in the Build view as you prepare to build a schedule.
   Periods per day	The number of periods per day appears. You define this in the Build view as you prepare to build a schedule.
   Terms per year	The number of schedule terms included in this schedule appears. You define this in the Build view as you prepare to build a schedule.

4. Click Save.
