Run reports

Run reports from the Reports side-tab, or from the Reports menu. See Add a Report to the Reports Menu.

To run a report from the Reports side-tab:

  1. Log on to the District or Intermediate Organization view.
  2. Select Tools > Reports.
  3. Find and select the report you'd like to run, and click Details.
  4. Select Options> Run. The pop-up containing specific parameters for that report appears.
  5. Click the General tab, and enter the report’s parameters.
  6. Click the Publish tab.
    Note: If the pop-up box for your report does not have a Publish tab, skip to step 8.

    Description

    Delivery type

    Click this drop-down to select Preview if you want to display the report in the Aspen Report Queue, or select Publish if you want to publish the report.

    Email subject

    A default email subject appears. Edit the text if needed.

    Email message

    A default email message appears. Edit the text if needed.

    Viewing start date

    This is the date that you want the report to appear in the Published Reports widget. Default value is today. Edit if needed.

    Viewing end date

    This is the date that you want the report to disappear from the Published Reports widget. Default value is two weeks from today. Edit if needed.

    Note: All published reports must have a viewing end date. They cannot appear in the widget indefinitely.

    Cleanup date

    This is the date that the report and publish log are completely removed from the system. Default value is one week after the viewing end date. Edit if needed.

  1. Click Run.

A PDF of the report appears.
