Assign IEP case managers

You can update the case manager for one or more IEPs while maintaining a record of the previous case managers.

To assign the next case manager to an IEP:

  1. Log on to the Special Education view.
  2. Click the IEP tab.
  3. Select the student whose IEP you want to work with, and then click the Details side-tab.
  4. Select the appropriate template from the drop-down.
  5. Click Search icon. in the Next Case Manager > Name field.
  6. In the Staff Pick List, select the staff member who will become the next case manager.
  7. Click OK.
  8. Click Save.

To make the next case manager the active case manager:

Note: In order to update the case manager, there must be a value in the Next Case Manager field.

  1. Log on to the Special Education view.
  2. Click the IEP tab.
  3. Select one or more students who have IEPs for which you want to make the next case manager the current case manager.
  4. On the Options menu, click Assign Next Case Manager.
  5. In the Assign Next Case Managers pop-up, select one of the following:
    • Current Selection: Updates all currently selected IEPs to the case manager selected in the IEP's Next Case Manager field.
    • Active IEPs: Updates all active IEPs to the case manager selected in the IEP's Next Case Manager field.
    • My Current Cases: Updates all of the current user's IEPs to the case manager selected in the IEP's Next Case Manager field.
