Usually, you begin to build your master schedule for the next school year in the spring before that school year.
In Aspen, you need a separate area of the system and a copy of this year’s data to work with when building next year’s master schedule. This work area is the Build view.
To log on to the Build view for your school:
- Log on to Aspen.
- On the settings bar, click Change View. The Change View pop-up appears.
- Click Build. If the current school has its scheduling mode set to Both, click Build > Elementary mode for the elementary view or Build > Secondary mode for the secondary view. The Build view for the school you logged on to appears.
