View the Publish log

After you run a publishable report in preview mode, the results appear in a publish log. This log is available in the following locations:

Notes:

  • The publish log is not available in the Personnel, Family, or Student views.
  • It is scoped by view. In the District view, you can see all of the reports that have been previewed or published in your district. In the School view, you only see reports run from the School view for your own school. In the Health view, you only see health reports.

To view the publish log for a report you previewed:

  1. Log on to the appropriate view and tab.
  2. Click the Logs side-tab. Any reports you previewed or published appear.
  3. Note: The Filter menu has a default value of Today. Click Filter icon. to view records for This Week, This Month, or All Records.

  1. Click a date in the appropriate row to view that report's details, including the email subject and message.
  2. Note: If you used tokens in your email message, double-check that the input parameters correctly substituted the right information into the email. For example, {ViewStartDate} should actually show the start date.

  1. Check that the three date fields are correct.
  2. On the Publish Log side-tab, click Recipients. A list of users who would have access to the published report appears:
  3. The filters for this page are as follows:

  1. Click a user's name to view details about the recipient, including email address and the actual physical file they would have access to:
  2. Note: Click an address field to send an email directly to this person.

  1. You can see whether that user has retrieved the report yet (Y or N).
  2. In the Filename field, click the file name to download the actual report file this user would see.
