Using the Sort Order Menu

Use the Sort Order menu to determine the order that records appear in on any list page. Manage your sort orders in the upper-right corner of each page using the Sort Order icon Sort order menu icon. .

In the following screenshot, the records are sorted by grade level:

The Sort Order menu contains a number of default options that are relevant to the page you’re looking at. In addition, you can create and save new sort orders.

Notes:

  • You might not have security privileges to delete or edit a school- or district-owned sort order. See your Aspen system administrator for more information.
  • Use the Sort Order menu to change the order of rows on a list page. To change the order or content of columns, edit the appropriate field set.
